The field of radiology encompasses a wide range of procedures and VCU’s Department of Radiology has expanded to offer patients several new and cutting-edge procedures, including cardiovascular imaging, venous ablation, uterine fibroid embolization radioimmunotherapy and virtual colonography.
Our Department also has a reputation for clinical excellence and performing traditional radiology services with innovative technologies and state-of-the-art equipment, such as ultrasonography, CT and MRI, as well as nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET) techniques.
