Mission
To affirm and elevate the status of the Department of Radiology in the Medical Center and the nation by providing high-quality, specialized imaging services and by building upon the existing research structure.
The Department of Radiology at VCU Medical Center is at the forefront of academic radiology departments, offering clinical, technological, educational and research initiatives that allow us to provide high-quality patient care and train the next generation of radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians.
The Department is committed to clinical excellence and provides patients with a full range of traditional radiology services, as well as a number of innovative and cutting-edge procedures, such as venous ablation and virtual colonography. In addition, our dedication to education and developing innovative technology is demonstrated in our exceptional residency and fellowship programs as well as extensive sponsored research initiatives.
